Jami Saunders

Co-founder + Creative Director + Head of Photography

Twenty years behind the lens — Brooklyn and Hamptons based, photographing worldwide. She’s spent her career inside families’ most personal moments. It’s a privilege she’s never taken lightly. Mother of two, with a personal camera roll pushing 165,000 photos and counting.

When she’s not taking pictures, she’s looking at them, editing them, or thinking about the ones past and the ones to come. Daysee is the dream where all of it — the family, the work, the photos — is home.

Neriah McBain

Lead Studio Photographer

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Neriah picked up a camera nearly two decades ago and has been shaping visual stories ever since. Specializing in portrait and commercial photography, Neriah’s multidisciplinary background spans key photography, lighting design, creative direction, and on-site production.

Known for a people-centric approach, he brings a nuanced understanding of body language and psychology to every set—creating a comfortable space where authentic moments thrive. Defined by striking color palettes, dimensional lighting, and tactile texture, his photography doesn’t just capture attention; it makes people feel seen, confident, and unforgettable.

Nina Burns

Studio General Manager

Nina runs the Daysee show, managing the schedule, front desk, retail program, and everyday vibes. She’s spent over a decade in the fashion industry, most recently as Senior Producer at Saks Global. Nina has also spent time in front of the camera as a model, giving her a firsthand understanding of what it takes to create compelling visual content. She also owns her own vintage business.

Whether she’s managing a production schedule, styling a vintage find, or stepping in front of the lens herself, Nina brings a true passion for creating experiences that feel personal and polished.

Penelope Peralta

Client Story + Product Experience

Penelope Peralta is a Puerto Rican–Dominican American photographer and creative based in NYC, known for her thoughtful approach to light, color, and individual detail.

As Creative Product & Experience Manager at Daysee, she works across curation, post-production, product development, and client experience. She transforms photographs into tangible objects—such as albums, framed prints, and gallery walls. She believes a photograph doesn’t have to end on a screen—it can become something to hold, display, and live with.
