Daysee Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how JJB Ventures LLC d/b/a Daysee (Daysee, we, us, or our) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit www.dayseestudio.com, book or attend a session, make a purchase, receive a gallery, participate in an event, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with us.
Our Site and booking flow are intended for adults. Daysee is a family photography studio and may process information about children when a parent or legal guardian provides it in connection with Services.
Personal Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of personal information:
- Contact and account information: name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, booking information, communications, and preferences.
- Session and family information: session details, names and ages of participating family members, information you choose to provide about a child, and relevant preferences or accessibility, allergy, or sensitivity information.
- Images and content: photographs, videos if offered, image files, selections, gallery activity, and other materials created during or supplied for a session.
- Transaction information: product and service purchases, payment status, and limited payment-confirmation information. Our payment processor processes full payment-card information; Daysee does not intentionally store full payment-card numbers.
- Online and device information: IP address, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, referring pages, cookies, and similar information generated when you use the Site.
- Professional information: information about vendors, job applicants, contractors, and other business contacts when relevant to a business relationship.
Sources of Information
We collect information directly from you; automatically through the Site and our service providers; from individuals booking a session for or with you; from social-media platforms or other third parties when you choose to connect or interact with them; and from service providers that help us process bookings, payments, galleries, orders, and communications.
Text Messages and Mobile Information
Daysee collects a mobile number, text-message preferences, the date/time and method of consent, and delivery/opt-out records if you decide to provide a number or elect to receive texts. Daysee uses this information for the specific programs selected: booking, appointment, service, order, and gallery updates; and, only if separately elected, promotional messages. Recipients may withdraw text consent by replying STOP or using another reasonable method described in the policy; opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary non-text account communications.
Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are not sold, rented, shared, or disclosed to third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Daysee will retain opt-in, opt-out, and campaign records as required by law and reasonably needed to establish compliance.
How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- provide, schedule, administer, photograph, edit, deliver, and support Services, galleries, purchases, and events;
- process payments, communicate about bookings and orders, and respond to questions or requests;
- maintain safety, manage studio operations, verify authority to consent, and protect children and families;
- personalize and improve the Site, Services, products, and client experience;
- send marketing communications when permitted by law and subject to your choices;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, security incidents, misuse, and violations of our agreements;
- comply with legal obligations, enforce our rights, and protect Daysee, clients, staff, and others; and
- evaluate or complete a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
Children and Family Images
A parent or legal guardian, not a child, must provide a child’s personal information to Daysee and make booking decisions for a child. We do not knowingly permit a child under thirteen (13) to independently create an account or submit personal information through the Site.
We use session images to provide the Services, create and fulfill client orders, and maintain our business records. We do not use an identifiable client’s image, including a child’s image, for Daysee’s portfolio, advertising, or other promotional purpose unless the required parent/legal-guardian permission has been obtained through a separate Photo & Model Release. A parent or legal guardian may withdraw that permission for future uses as described in that release; withdrawal does not undo uses already made or materials already produced, distributed, scheduled, or committed for production before Daysee receives the request.
If you believe that a child has submitted personal information directly to Daysee without a parent’s or guardian’s consent, contact us at hello@dayseestudio.com.
How We Disclose Personal Information
Daysee does not sell personal information for money. We may disclose personal information to:
- service providers that perform services for us, such as booking, payment, email, website hosting, gallery hosting, cloud storage, printing, shipping, analytics, security, and professional services;
- authorized recipients you direct us to share with, such as a gallery recipient or a person authorized to collect an order;
- professional advisers and insurers where reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, insurance, or business purposes;
- government authorities, law enforcement, courts, or other parties where we believe disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or security; and
- a buyer, lender, successor, or other participant in a business transaction, subject to applicable law.
We require service providers to handle personal information only for authorized purposes and in accordance with applicable contractual and legal obligations. Their independent privacy practices may also apply to their services.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site may use cookies, pixels, log files, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure traffic and performance, and support security and analytics. You may control cookies through your browser or device settings. Blocking cookies may affect Site functionality.
Where required by law, Daysee will provide any required notice or choice before using nonessential cookies or similar technologies.
Marketing Choices
You may opt out of promotional email or SMS messages by using the unsubscribe link in the message, replying “STOP” when applicable, or contacting us at hello@dayseestudio.com. We may still send non-promotional communications, including booking, order, safety, legal, or account-related messages.
Security
Daysee uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including client images, from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Access to client galleries and images is limited through access controls and other security measures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Daysee cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide Services, preserve galleries and business records, comply with legal, tax, accounting, insurance, and dispute-resolution obligations, and protect our rights. The applicable booking confirmation, gallery notice, or Session Agreement may identify a gallery availability period. Gallery availability is not a promise that Daysee will retain an image indefinitely.
Your Requests and Rights
Subject to applicable law and verification of your identity and authority, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you or your child. To make a request, email hello@dayseestudio.com with the subject line Privacy Request. We may ask for information necessary to verify the request, protect another person’s privacy, and confirm authority to act for a child or another individual.
We may deny or limit a request where permitted or required by law, including where retention is necessary to complete a transaction, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, establish or defend legal claims, or protect another person’s rights. Daysee will not discriminate against you for exercising rights available under applicable privacy law.
Third-Party Websites and Services
The Site may contain links to, or use, third-party websites and services. This Policy does not govern third-party practices. Review the applicable third party’s privacy policy before providing information to it.
U.S. Processing
Daysee operates in the United States. If you access the Site or Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised effective date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice when required by law.
