Daysee Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Effective Date: July 28, 2026

This Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy applies to sessions booked with JJB Ventures LLC d/b/a Daysee (“Daysee”). The notice period, deposit amount, session fee, and any rescheduling fee applicable to your booking are shown in the booking flow, booking confirmation, or invoice. Those session-specific terms control if they differ from this policy.

Cancellation by Client

To cancel or request rescheduling, contact Daysee at hello@dayseestudio.com as soon as possible. A cancellation or rescheduling request is effective when Daysee confirms receipt in writing.

Unless the booking confirmation states otherwise:

  • More than 48 hours before the session: Daysee will apply the paid deposit to one rescheduled session occurring within ninety (90) days of the original session date, subject to availability. If you elect to cancel rather than reschedule, the deposit is nonrefundable.
  • 48 hours or less before the session: The deposit is nonrefundable and cannot be transferred, except where Daysee agrees in writing to an accommodation or applicable law requires otherwise.
  • No-show: If you do not arrive for the scheduled session and have not obtained Daysee’s written agreement to reschedule, all paid session fees and deposits are forfeited.

Any rescheduling accommodation is subject to Daysee’s availability and does not apply to a later cancellation or no-show unless Daysee expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

Late Arrival

Arrive at the scheduled time stated in your booking confirmation. If you arrive late, Daysee may shorten the session to preserve subsequent bookings. The session fee remains due in full. If you are more than fifteen (15) minutes late, Daysee may treat the booking as a no-show if completing the session is no longer reasonably practicable.

Illness and Safety

For the safety of families and staff, contact Daysee promptly if a participant has a contagious illness, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, a known communicable condition, or another circumstance that may make attendance unsafe. Daysee may require rescheduling in its reasonable discretion. Daysee will consider reasonable requests to reschedule because of illness, but any accommodation remains subject to availability and the session-specific terms.

Rescheduling by Daysee

Daysee may need to reschedule or cancel because of illness, safety concerns, severe weather, building access issues, equipment failure, staff emergency, force majeure, or another circumstance beyond Daysee’s reasonable control. Daysee will make reasonable efforts to provide notice and offer the earliest reasonably available replacement date.

If Daysee cannot reasonably reschedule the affected session, Daysee will refund the amounts paid for that session. To the fullest extent permitted by law, that refund or a rescheduled session is your sole remedy for a Daysee-initiated cancellation; Daysee is not responsible for incidental expenses such as travel, childcare, wardrobe, or missed work.

Custom Products and Third-Party Costs

Once production begins on a custom print, album, frame, or other product, the order is final and is not refundable except for damage, defect, fulfillment error, or as required by law. If a client-approved change requires nonrecoverable third-party charges, Daysee may require payment of those charges before confirming the change.

General

This Policy is incorporated into the Daysee Terms of Service and Session Agreement. Daysee may make reasonable, documented exceptions in its discretion; an exception in one instance does not require Daysee to grant an exception in another.

Questions may be sent to hello@dayseestudio.com. Daysee’s address is 45 South 4th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11249.
